Weekend full of fun.

Well we started off the weekend by having some of our friends from Monroe come over Fri night and it was so fun to see them and let the kids play. Thanks Jessop's for coming over sorry you got home so late. Then on Sat we went to Brock's soccer game.

(Brock their team is FIRE!!!)
(Sorry I didn't get to many pictures Brock I had to get Aspyn's hair done.)

(Colby & Randi's youngest Kyler I can't believe how big he is getting)

Then Bailey headed to St George to play Soccer and Brock came to our house to play. Trey had baseball skills testing so he and I headed to the baseball field. Once that was over we came home and planted our seed starts for our garden this year. We planted tomatos, peppers, onions, lettuce, cucumbers, corn, sunflowers, carrots, etc.

(Looks like a lot of work once they get planted!)

Then we headed into Cedar City to watch a movie. Thanks Aunt Randi for watching the two little ones since we could not get a babysitter:) We saw Race to Witch Mountain and really liked it. All in all it was a weekend full of fun.

(The movie we watched)

Rise Above It!!!!

I have had several people ask me about Trey and his wrestling. Trey loves to wrestle and he is dang good. Unfortunately he is being teased at school by some of the basketball players for wrestling. Trey is very sentimental and gets his feelings hurt easy. Because of this he did not wrestle at the last tournament. Trey, I want you to know kids can be mean, & sometimes they are going to say mean things. But only you have the choice as to how you are going to let it effect you. You can take the easy way out and stop wrestling, or you can not let them get to you and continue doing what you love. We love you no matter what and we will support your decision but we hope you learn from this experience how hurtful teasing can be and will stand up for others when they are being teased.

Finally Girls Weekend

Well I never thought our girls weekend would get here, but it finally did. It came and flew right by. We started this girls weekend in 2004 after my husband was killed and I really needed my girlfriends. Turns out this was a tragic year for several of us as we each faced our own set of challenges. We really found strength in each other we laughed, cried and scrapped our hearts out. We had so much fun that we decided to make it an annual event. Each year we change locations and this year happened to be in sunny St George. Shelly (Koyle), Jen (O'Camb), Wendy (Christensen), Joanna (Shepard), Taunie (Stott), Lisa (Beckstrand), and I (Carol and Tricia were not able to make it this year) had a great time and I honestly look forward to this weekend every year. Thanks for the great times girls. My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard.

Is this my baby?

Wow! It is hard to believe Ridge is almost two. He put on Treys hat and backpack and was walking around the house and looked so big. My baby is growing up way to fast.
