I have had several people ask me about Trey and his wrestling. Trey loves to wrestle and he is dang good. Unfortunately he is being teased at school by some of the basketball players for wrestling. Trey is very sentimental and gets his feelings hurt easy. Because of this he did not wrestle at the last tournament. Trey, I want you to know kids can be mean, & sometimes they are going to say mean things. But only you have the choice as to how you are going to let it effect you. You can take the easy way out and stop wrestling, or you can not let them get to you and continue doing what you love. We love you no matter what and we will support your decision but we hope you learn from this experience how hurtful teasing can be and will stand up for others when they are being teased.

Trey buddy, we have ALL been there. Those boys are just jealous. Keep doing what you love because someone will probably find a reason to tease you even if you decide not to wrestle anymore. We all love you.
I hate when kids say mean things, but should the best wrestler in the world stop because a bunch of basketball players say wrestling is dumb? NO! This life is about learning what we love and we are good at and doing that...not what someone else thinks is "cool." Just like you wouldn't smoke or do drugs to be cool you shouldn't quit something you love because someone says it is "uncool." Some of the coolest guys I know from my high school were wrestlers! You do what you love and be proud of it!
If I were closer I would give you a big hug! Hang in there. I think wrestling is way cool. Clay wrestled for a long time and Beau plans on wrestling when he gets a few years older. Go kick some butt on the matt and show those mean guys who's tough!
Trey I read your story to Zeak and he wants you to know he knows how you feel and you shouldn't be different and stop doing what you love and being who you are because someone teases you. He knows how you feel he gets teased for being a cowboy all the time. He has learned the hard way when he tries to be someone he is not life isn't as much fun and things are a lot harder than when you are being yourself and doing your best.
