Pop a Top
Well, Trey and I made another trip to Primary Childrens Medical Center and look how many pop tops we were able to drop off. Thank you so much to everyone who is saving them. If you think the few that you are saving is not making a difference it is. Please keep up the good work! For those of you who are unaware of this program it is a fun easy way to help those in need. All you need to do is save the tops off your soda pop cans, soup cans etc. Hang on to them until you have a few collected and then call me if you are in the Cedar City area, or you can drop them off at the Cancer Center. If you are in the Fillmore area I am sure Lisa would love to help me out.(Lisa-like how I volunteer ya:). Or if you live in the Highland/Lehi/SLC area I will pick them up on my way to drop them off at Primary Childrens Medical Center or you can drop them off yourself if you wish. They go to the Ronald McDonald House to help guest pay for their stay while their family is in the hospital. When I lived in Idaho we collected these pop tops for a Shriner's Childrens Hospital and although Trey was little, he loved taking in the tops. So when we moved, he asked, "where are we going to take the pop tops now"? So once we got settled in Utah I began to ask around and no one knew anything about a pop top program. With a little research I found out the Ronald McDonald House participated and they didn't have any representatives from the southern area of the state. So we gladly accepted and here we are collecting pop tabs. Every little bit helps. For more information on the pop a top program you can visit: http://centralpt.com/upload/230/1088_AdobePoptabFlyer.pdf
Thanks Again for all you do. You guys are great. I would also like to give a shout out to all my old coworkers at Insta-Care for all the grief they went through for collecting the pop tabs. I hope I am worth it. I really appreciate them putting their jobs on the line and standing up against JAYCO. The pop tab society salutes you for your efforts and a job well done:)

Long Over Due!
Well Ridge had his first hair cut. I know.. I know.. its about time. I guess since he is our last we were just trying to hold on the baby stage as long as we could. But he has needed a hair cut for sometime now. So finally we were able to get it done. He did pretty good. He cried a litte, but held pretty still. Here are some before and after pictures. These pictures were taken the day before his hair cut. He had just woke up from a nap so his hair was really wild, and it was getting pretty long.

More Coupons Deals
Well I am finally getting around to posting my double days at Kmart (sorry so late Karen)and some other deals I have purchased since then. My total at Kmart was $13 something (I can't remember exactly). I bought 5 toothpastes (thanks to Karen I was able to get 4 kids toothpaste),1 resolve carpet cleaner, 1 oil olay face wash (usually 8.00 itself), 4 pert plus shampoo, a few other items can't remember exactly what. There were a few items I wanted to buy but they were out. With a sale like this it pays to go early. Some of you are probably thinking $13.00 you didn't do very good, but I forgot to mention that also included 4swimming suits! I was done coupon shopping and wondering around the store waiting for Jim to come pick me up when Trey had to go the the bathroom. Well back by the bathroom was a hugh clearance rack of swimming suits. So Aspyn, Trey, Easton, and Jim all got new suits. I was so excited because they needed them for our trip to Belize in January. All in all good shopping visit. I hear another Kmart double day is coming up the 15th so get ready!!!
Just as I was going to takes the picture Jims swimming suit fell of the railing and onto Aspyns head. You can see from the picture the boys thought it was hilarious.

At Walgreens (which I hate to even step foot in) I took advantage of the free cleaning supplies. Now if I could just find a free cleaner to go along with them I would be set. I also made use of the great deals as Albies, whom I love. I got free toothpaste, free toilet paper, free zone bars, and free frozen vegs. Kuddos to Albies for the great sales and great customer services proving you can provide both:)

Some of you have asked me about couponing and how to do it. I have to give credit to my friend and co-worker Karen. She is the one who taught me how to do it. She is amasing and it still blows my mind with the things she is able to get. I am going to tell you up front. Couponing takes a lot of time. There are some weeks there may be some great deals, but I just don't have the time to mess with it. So if you miss a good sale don't worry another one will come along. The best place to start is on www.pinchingyourpennies.com you have to set up a user name and password, but it is free. Then click on screaming deals by state then click on your state (Utah is by far the most active state on there, but other states allow you to double your coupons and Utah does not). This will list all the stores, current sales, and coupons if avaliable. It will have a star value as how hot of sale it is. For thoses of you in po dunk Millard area Duanes will not so much work. You might find a good deal once in awhile if it is part of associated foods. But if you have a Dr. visit up north check pinching a week before you go for sales and see what coupons you need and whats on sale then when you go up you can take advantage of the sales. Trust me it is worth it. It can be very confusing as first. If you have more questions or want more info you are welcome to email me brandymundall@yahoo.com

One Busy Weekend!
LONG POST (SORRY)!!!!
Well the last weekend of September was a very busy weekend for us, but we had a great time. Brandy was able to get together with some good friends and participate in the Harvest 5k walk/run in Fillmore Utah. Many of you are from the Millard area, but for those of you who are not: This 5K Walk/Run was in memory of Kate Rosenvall (July 15 2006-March 25 2008). Kate was born with several birth defects and spent a lot of time at primary childrens hospital so the money from the 5k run will be donated to Primay Childrens in Kates name. We all had so much fun.

After the 5K they had a great breakfast just ask my husband! He ate so much he felt bad so he paid twice!

They had a lot of activities for the kids, playground, sandbox, horse rides, wagon rides, etc. My kids had a blast!

Marcae's sister-in-law was there (she is a photographer) taking pictures and she did a great job. I will for sure be ordering some of my kiddos. They turned out great. We were not able to stay all day, but they had a dinner that night and a dance with a live band that Trey was not happy about missing. It was so much fun and I heard nothing but great things about this event. I am sure it took a lot of time and effort for Marcae and Bryan to plan and carry out this event. I hope it was as rewarding for them as it was for those of us who participated. Thank you Rosenvalls for all the time and effort you put in.
From Fillmore we headed up to Highland to Jims dads house. We went to the Zoo and had a good time. The two little ones were a little cranky so it could have been better. I am sure they were just tired from all the traveling of the weekend. The boys loved the white alligator.

Aspyn liked the possum sleeping in the log!

Acting like the apes they are!!!!

Then we had the big event of Jims dads wedding. By the time the wedding day got here Ridge and Aspyn had had it. I did not get any pictures of the actual wedding because I had to take Ridge and Aspyn out, but I did get some pictures of Aspyn in her cute dress. I thought I had taken a picture of the back of her hair but I guess not it was cute.

All in all it was one busy weekend. But it was worth it. We were so glad to see so many friends and family some we had not seen for years.
